These Foods are BUNNY SAFE


A – C

  • Acacia: no food value, but twigs can be entertainment
  • Alfalfa: fresh or hay
  • Apples: all parts except seeds
  • Artichoke (jerusalem)
  • Arugula
  • Asparagus
  • Banana
  • Barley
  • Basil
  • Beans and bean vines (not soybean)
  • Beets: both top and root of regular, sugar, or mangel
  • Bermuda grass
  • Blackberry (leaves,stems & fruit)
  • Blueberry
  • Bluegrasses, including Canadian
  • Bread: dry, or soaked in milk
  • Broccoli
  • Brussel Sprouts
  • Buckwheat
  • Cabbage: some is okay, too much may cause goiter
  • Cantalope (not skin)
  • Caraway
  • Carpet grass
  • Carrot: root and tops.
  • Celery ( just a little at a time)
  • Cereals (if fat-free and fresh)
  • Chard
  • Cheeseweed (malva)
